Frequently, when a company enters a transitional phase, they require service providers. For example, when a company is growing, they may need to move to larger offices. Those offices need networking wiring, which isn't worthwhile unless the routers, switches, and servers are all set up right. Of course, the company will also require new computers for the new staff members.

This growing company can't get by on their old PBX, so a new larger telephone system is in order. And since they have so many lines, maybe bringing in some dedicated phone service is the right thing to do.

At this same time, the company may be rebranding itself, and so it requires marketing services, including a new logo and collateral materials. That means they will also need a new web site. Perhaps an intranet to help manage their growing staff. This larger staff requires an upgrade in their payroll service, which may as well integrate with an upgraded accounting system which this larger company now needs.

Customer Service would improve with a new CRM system, which may need to integrate with the Intranet and accounting system. And operations would certainly improve if only they could have a custom application developed to handle their unique business.

This new investment in infrastructure needs to be protected by a good security system. . . . and the list goes on and on.

Membership in ConNextLA is by invitation only, and usually by referral. However, we are happy to entertain requests from those wishing to join our organization. Members must have a history of providing top quality service in technology-related business fields, or in specialty services provided to companies in transition. We also try to avoid duplication of core competencies so that there is less competition, and more teamwork within the group.
