Companies in motion are almost always in a transitional phase, they require many different types of service providers, at many different times. For example, when a company is growing, they may need to move to larger offices. Those offices need network wiring which isn't worthwhile unless the routers, switches, and servers and other computers are all set up correctly. Of course, the company will also require new computers for the new staff members, or it may just be the right time for an upgrade as well.
This growing company can't get by on their old PBX, so a new telephone system with expanded capabilities, is surely needed. To accompany that phone system will be phone service, and to help make the transition simpler, perhaps consolidating your data vendor may be in order. With most expansions, companies need to let people know or they may be rebranding at the same time, therefore some marketing and branding services would be sought after. Hmmm…this also sounds like this also sounds like some web site work is coming up too. Perhaps an intranet to help manage their growing staff. This larger staff requires an upgrade in their payroll service, which may as well integrate with an upgraded accounting system which this larger company now needs.
Customer Service and Sales would improve with a new CRM system, which may need to integrate with the Intranet and accounting system, and operations would certainly improve if only they could have a custom application developed to handle their unique business. Yep…sounds like an ERP opportunity too!
This new investment in infrastructure and business architecture needs to be protected by appropriate security, controls, and plans for disasters and resumption – just in case!!!

Being a member of ConNext means never having to say No to a client request. We are a group of committed professionals working closely together to provide our mutual clients with the best services. We have service providers of all types, mostly technical in nature, serving all sizes of clients.
Membership in ConNext is by invitation only, and usually by referral. However, we have now made available a new Membership Request form on our site. To be a member, you and your company must have a history of providing top quality service in a business or technology-related service, or in specialty services provided to companies in transition. We also try to avoid duplication of core competencies so that there is virtually no competition between members, and more teamwork within the group. With this desire, membership is extremely limited. This is not a group with membership numbers that would total more than about 30, so please use the request form so we can see how you and your company and service or product can best fit the group.
